Tina Koziol, PhD
Senior Data Scientist: I want to make AI easier to understand, build, and apply.
My journey into data science began with a doctorate in computational economics, where I built large-scale agent-based models and explored the dynamics of highly complex systems. Since then, I’ve worked on applied AI projects ranging from anomaly detection in time series to LLM-based solutions for large-scale information processing. The rise of foundation models reinforced my view that we are quickly moving toward general AI and, eventually, superintelligence, which will deeply impact our economies and societies.
I have designed and deployed scalable AI applications in the Azure Cloud, built an LLM-powered system for information processing, and, together with my team, developed a machine learning tool for anomaly detection in time series to support safety-critical monitoring. I like to think about the 'bigger picture', integration and strategy.
My expertise spans Research, Python, MLOps/Azure, complemented by experience in governance and change management. With this project, my goal is simple: make AI more accessible and help people focus on what truly matters amidst the flood of information.
